I woke this morning feeling eternally grateful to be surrounded by Mother Nature and all of her glory. The Birds are chirping, the bees are buzzing and the butterflies are flying, and about 4 groundhogs have come out to play, lol. I love animals and insects so it really hit me hard when I found out about the Monarch’s being on the endangered species list. I made a ton of phone calls to the town and parks officials, Horticulturalists, and Town environmentalists, to find out if there were programs/workshops that teach you how create your own pollinator garden. I also went online and YouTube to find information on how do it myself. I think I have to wait until the fall to start but I’m super motivated and I can’t wait to start the process. I’m rethinking our entire property! We’ve made a few mistake with our gardening choices in the past but I’m going to fix them and from now on I really want to PLANT WITH A PURPOSE! I was naive and totally unaware two years ago. from now on I’m only adding native pollinator plants and bushes. I want our property to be a beautiful oasis for monarchs and other pollinators!! Ohh I’m super excited to embark on this journey! I can’t wait to share all the new and exciting plans with you all! Also, I think the Chancellor would approve! Ohh I almost forgot to tell you to check out our rehab table and chairs we found at a garage sell! I cleaned them and re-painted them. I love taking old discarded things and giving them new life. I forgot to take a before picture but trust me, it was bad! Lol ❤️🦋🐝🐞🐛🌳🌸🌻🌼🪷No photo description available.
