I can’t believe our Newsday article about us is nominated for an Emmy!! So…. We will be attending the Emmys this year!!

I will be sitting alongside Denise Sheppard whose story is also nominated for an Emmy! Two Black women in a(predominately white) small town, both have stories nominated for Emmys this year! Unbelievable!
