Earlier today I was decorating my fireplace mantle and I realized the fireplace floor looked really bad
Ok....So I wasn’t going to post this because sometimes ppl can be really mean and critique everything, lol. Earlier today I was decorating my fireplace mantle and I realized the fireplace floor looked really bad, lol. So I decided to grab some paint and paint brush and get to work. This is a temporary fix because we are going to replace it anyway. But it does look a lot better!
I’ll post pictures of the before and After tomorrow. It turned out really nice! 
Did you use fireplace paint? No, I grab the first can of paint I saw in the basement.
Did you use painters tap? No, I did it all free hand.
Is that paint safe for fireplaces? I don’t know but I’m sure it’s fine because it’s not actually in the fireplace and we aren’t going to use it anyway.
Are you crazy? Yes, a little crazy 
Are you going to keep it like this? No, we are going to replace the fireplace floor with firebrick very soon.
